The best of NSW bird watching and fishing, in Deniliquin

We’re pretty proud of our spot on the river in Deniliquin, NSW. It’s what makes a stay here so relaxing - and it’s also what keeps us exciting!

From our river frontage you’re in the perfect position to watch the local birds go about their business, or drop in a line. We’re located just five minutes walk from the centre of Deniliquin, and a number of bushwalks and walking tours also start close to our gates. If something with a little more horse power is right up your alley, the infamous Deniliquin Ute Muster is held on the first weekend of October while steam engine fans will love the steam pump display, open year-round at the Pioneer Steam Museum.

Deniliquin is situated on the fringe of the world’s largest River Redgum forest and there’s a well-developed network of walking trails to help you really get off the grid, not to mention the water skiing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and biking you can do moments from our sites.

If that works up an appetite we suggest a visit to Conargo Winery to sample the best of local food and wine. Or sit pretty where you are. Every fourth Saturday of the month, enjoy the local market held in the Waring gardens only a short walk away and every second Saturday visit the farmers market brimming over with fresh produce from the region.
